About the job

As Compliance Counsel, reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will take the lead in our Data Privacy program and contribute to broader compliance governance. You are not expected to know everything from day one—what matters most is your integrity, curiosity, and willingness to learn. You will receive structured onboarding, ongoing mentorship, and access to a knowledgeable team that supports your development every step of the way.

You will collaborate closely with Legal Support, business units, and group functions to further develop and implement our compliance program. Your main focus areas include data privacy (lead), antitrust, anti-bribery/anti-corruption, sanctions, export controls, and customs.

Examples of work tasks are:

• Lead the Data Protection Program (GDPR) – Guiding and supporting the organization in adhering to Alleima’s data privacy framework.
• Advise on International Trade Compliance – Becoming a trusted advisor on export controls and sanctions, with support from experienced colleagues.
• Develop and Improve Compliance Policies and Procedures – Helping shape robust structures that enable ethical operations across the business.
• Provide Legal Advice on Customs Matters – Supporting the organization in navigating customs-related topics efficiently and in line with applicable laws.
• Support digital compliance (e.g., NIS 2) and product compliance, including regulations such as MDR.
• Advise on Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery initiatives – Strengthening Alleima’s integrity framework together with the team.
• Provide legal support in business integrity investigations, ensuring fair and thorough processes.
• Monitor legislative developments and guide the business in responding to regulatory changes.
• Develop and deliver training, helping build a strong compliance culture throughout Alleima.

Your Profile

You hold a Swedish law degree and bring around 3–5 years of experience, preferably from a producing company. Ideally, you have exposure to international trade, export control, and data privacy—but we know that no candidate checks every box. What matters most is your willingness to learn and grow in the role. As we operate in a global environment, excellent communication skills in Swedish and English are essential.
