Assignment Overview

Our client, a premium electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, is seeking a Legal Counsel to support their legal team in Gothenburg. The consultant will provide expert legal guidance across a broad spectrum of commercial, business, and corporate law matters in an international context. You’ll work independently and collaboratively with the Head of Commercial Legal and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and negotiate B2B and B2B2C agreements.
• Draft, review, and advise on contracts including:
• Commercial agreements
• Supply agreements
• Software licensing and IT contracts
• Distribution and logistics agreements
• Procurement contracts
• Handle corporate legal operations, including:
• Drafting board (BoD) and annual general meeting (AGM) materials
• Ensuring compliance with Swedish corporate law
• Provide legal counsel on daily operations with a business-partner approach.
• Draft contract templates and legal guidelines.
• Work closely with the Legal & IP team on shared initiatives.

Requirements

• Swedish Law Degree (Master’s with focus on international commercial/corporate law is a plus).
• Minimum 4 years of legal experience in law firms or as in-house counsel.
• Proven ability in negotiating, drafting, and managing commercial and corporate documents.
• Fluent in English (written and verbal) – legal-level proficiency.
• Prior experience in the automotive or infrastructure industry is a strong plus.
